AEA Technology in Cadcentre deal
15 Jan 2000
AEA Technology Engineering Software last month announced its intention to form a strategic alliance with Cadcentre, the Cambridge-based supplier of computer-aided process design software. Under the terms of the alliance, Cadcentre will take on responsibility for supporting all AEAT's existing plant design customers worldwide. It will also license AEAT's recently acquired PASCE 2D schematic and 3D physical plant design software, and be responsible for selling and supporting them alongside its own products. Cadcentre is to pay up to $4.5million for the PASCE 3D software, while 2D PASCE sales will attract a royalty to AEAT.
