Overhung range extended

Ingersoll-Dresser has extended its range of overhung process pumps to cover applications requiring low flows and high heads. The HPXM range, which handles flows up to 25m3/hr and heads up to 150m, is suitable for applications in the refining, oil production, chemical processing and utilities sectors.
The low flow, high head area has been ignored by many centrifugal pump manufacturers, claims Ingersoll-Dresser, because the hydraulic characteristics of such flows mean that the pumps have small passages which are difficult to cast.
