Current events on electrical polymer

Baxenden Chemical has joined forces with Kingston University to develop a new conductive polymer based on a polythiophene derivative. The partners hope to design and build a pilot plant to produce the polymers within the next few months. According to Baxenden, the polymer is twice as conductive as the polyaniline materials which currently represent the state of the art.
