Who can help?

A new service to help businesses meet the COMAH regulations has been launched by the process engineering consultancy Eutech.
Developed for both existing CIMAH-regulated companies and newcomers to the COMAH regime, the `CIMAH to COMAH' service aims to help companies to optimise their safety management systems, safety reports, environmental risk assessment, incident planning and total SHE management to comply with COMAH.
Details on Eutech's new service can be obtained from Mike Rodwell on 01606 704093 or Mike Beanland on 01642 372220.
* Next month the government agencies responsible for the successful implementation of the COMAH regulations are holding a two-day conference in London.
Jointly organised by the HSE, the Environment Agency and the Department of Environment, Transport and the Regions (DETR), COMAH 1999 takes place on 1-2 March at the Institution of Civil Engineers' Conference Centre in Westminster. It is billed as `the definitive conference' for managers of major businesses affected by COMAH, for regulatory authorities, emergency planning organisations, trades unions and health and safety specialists.
