NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS: `QUALITY CONTINUES TO IMPROVE'
15 Jan 2000
National Instruments has been attending the Control & Instrumentation Show for the past 10 years, and we view the show as one of the pivotal events of the year.
We introduced more than 150 new products in 1998, and the show continues to be a major opportunity for us to show our products to both existing and potential new customers.
As an exhibitor, the company feels that it is important to have new and exciting products, and we will employ the theatre area of our stand to educate visitors about the benefits of these products.
We have been consistently happy with the numbers of visitors who have attended our stand and in 1998 we exceeded our 1997 total by 15%.
As in previous years, 1998 was no exception, and the customers who visited us had urgent applications that they needed to solve.
A number even had diagrams and project plans which they wanted to achieve, which we were able to discuss there and then.
Furthermore, we feel that National Instruments is also responsible for the success of the show, so we have prize draws on the stand, with prizes ranging from mouse mats to colour TVs.
We generate visitor interest in our stand by direct mailing to our own database with a flyer and show invitation, giving potential visitors an idea of what new technologies they can expect to see from the company. This year we will be demonstrating some new embedded technologies for real-time applications, and a tool which makes developing machine vision applications easy to achieve - even for non-programmers.
I am looking forward to the show in 1999, and I believe that with the addition of the seminars and workshops, the numbers and quality of visitors will continue to improve.
Here's hoping to see you at the show!
