Mozaffar in the picture at ICI
Shakeel Mozaffar has been appointed vice-president of global procurement and logistics at ICI, a new post dedicated to improving the efficiency of the company's supply chain. He was previously head of purchasing at Polaroid. Mozaffar will be based in the US, where most of ICI's sales are made.
* Davis takes on fibres
Garry Davies has been named global manager for high temperature installation at ICI's Cheshire-based `Saffil' alumina fibres business. Previously with Thermal Ceramics, Davies will focus on developing new markets for Saffil fibres in refractory applications in the iron, steel, ceramics and petrochemical industries.
