Cast iron compressors

More wear-resistant and durable than aluminium, cast iron is an important material for compressors which operate in tough environments and high temperatures. Ecoair has now expanded its Ecomaster range of 1.5-3kW cast-iron reciprocating compressors aimed at light industrial uses.
The compressors are single-stage, using a belt-driven mechanism to achieve pressures up to 9 bar. The synthetic lubricant extends component life, says Ecoair.
