Functionality that operators might expect from PC or PLC type plant control system is available in a 'low cost' batching weighing control system, claims developer Chronos Richardson.
The CR 500 is customised to the task of precision multiweighing and plant process control 'with the performance expected from a ruggedised controller'.
Housed in a standard 19in rack, operation of the CR 500 is straightforward: function keys, menu driven software, alpha-numeric keyboard and operator keypad all simplify operations.
The company is also offering a defined upgrade path for the CR 500, through the additional link to a colour graphics supervisory controller or other computer.
