Paperless recorder can display 36 channels
15 Jan 2000
The latest version of Jumo's Logoscreen paperless recorder is capable of displaying 36 channels of data despite being only 144 3144mm in size. With a local operating network (LON) connection, the device is `ideal for use in networked data acquisition', the company claims.
The Logoscreen can be used as both a conventional dedicated recorder - able to show and analyse six groups of six channels - and as an analogue input module for a larger system. Operators can input data via internal 6- or 12-channel input cards, or via the LON connection, which gives the instrument the ability to process a further 24 input channels.
Also available is Jumo's new PCA evaluation software, which allows any data recorded on the Logoscreen to be stored, managed and visualised on PCs running Windows 3.1x, 95, 98 or NT. Process data can be stored indefinitely and located by batch number, or transferred to a spreadsheet for further analysis and display.
