No need for re-entry as Foxboro's plantwide package takes off

Foxboro has announced a plantwide engineering productivity solution that combines the functionality of its FoxCAE control system design package with FoxCAD.
FoxProductivity, the CAE/CAD offering, provides a fully integrated, Windows-based personal computer solution for configuration and maintenance. Both I/A Series control databases and plant process instrumentation databases.
This engineering tool automatically links control databases generated in FoxCAE with plant instrumentation bases generated in FoxCAD. This saves time by minimising the need to re-enter data, says Foxboro. Moreover, it allows the operator to access any plant CAD data from the same personal computer - and helps meet plant regulatory and quality requirements for up-to-date documentation.
