Bench-top corrosion testing
15 Jan 2000
Corrosion testing can be a problem where space is limited, but Ascott Analytical Equipment has managed to pack a large number of features into a cabinet that can be mounted on a bench-top.
The Ascott corrosion protection cabinets use slotted sample racks to allow up to 60 1503100mm panels to be tested simultaneously. An eye-level viewing window and internal illumination allow inspection of the samples. The door is equipped with a dry-seal gasket.
Three different versions of the cabinet are available, for saturation humidity, salt-spray and cyclic corrosion testing. The latter two incorporate a salt-fog catchpot which collects and measures salt fog fallout.
