Smart washers measure torque

Maywood Instruments has developed load washers for measuring clamping forces in screwed fastenings or force between two components. The washers can be supplied with digital displays. The transducers can determine the correct torque tightening regime for screwed fasteners or observe long term changes in compression status and are available in diameters 6mm and up.
