The latest version of Honeywell's SMV 3000 smart multivariable flow transmitter not only measures flow, pressure and temperature, but also calculates mass and volume for gases, steam, air and liquids. Apart from conventional flow measurement applications, the SMV 3000 is used in many other multivariable process applications such as boiler drums and distillation columns. The latest model, STM125, features dynamic flow compensation, which not only improves mass flow but also provides larger flow turndown.
