EU investigates BOC sell-off

The European Union's regulatory authority is investigating the proposed sale of BOC to Air Liquide and Air Products. It has announced that it is extending its investigation of the deal by four months, and expects to reach a decision by the end of next January. Its US equivalent, the Federal Trade Commission, has also extended its investigation.
