OpenBatch number one for ARC

The ARC Advisory Group has given Sequencia's OpenBatch software the number one position in its annual batch control system outlook survey for the second year running. Sequencia hopes to exploit the survey to boost OpenBatch's distribution through OEMs and system integrators.
The survey notes that the batch control market is outstripping the overall process control market, as operators switch processes over to smaller, more versatile plants. The market is also becoming much more software oriented, with the standardisation trend making the hardware side more commodity-like.
