Hosokawa puts £1m into jobs
15 Jan 2000
Hosokawa Micron has announced a £1million investment for jobs at its facility in Runcorn, Cheshire. The investment, from the company's Japanese parent group and a Regional Selective Assistance grant from the Government Office North West, will enable an extension to be built.
The extension will increase workshop and assembly facilities by almost 70 per cent and create a new manufacturing base for Hosokawa equipment in the UK.
The factory will produce explosion barrier valves and product collection filters for the company's environmental division, and a new split-body ACM classifier mill.
