FLIR Systems' new ThermaCAM PM595 thermographic camera operates without need of the cryogenic cooling systems that characterise similar products. Designed just like a handheld camcorder with all necessary controls at the user's fingertips, the camera features automatic calibration and a system called Emissivity QuickSelect. This allow users to choose emissivity values from a pre-customised pull-down table for reliable measurement when moving from one application to the next.
