Cost-conscious flowmetering
15 Jan 2000
Featuring a moulded, mesh plate reinforced Teflon tube lining, the Admag SE is suited to tasks where more expensive, abrasion-resistant ceramic linings are not needed.
To contain costs further, dual frequency excitation is replaced with a single excitation system capable of accuracies of 0.5 per cent of measured flow at 1m/s to 10m/s, and 0.5 per cent of span at 0.3m/s to 1m/s.
The Teflon lining and solid metal, leak-proof electrode are designed to cope with vacuum, high and fluctuating pressures (to 40bar), and temperatures from -40 to 160oC.
Stainless steel electrodes are standard, with Pt-iridium, Hastelloy C, tantalum, titanium and tungsten carbibe as options.
