Precision gauge protects pumps

A range of high accuracy bourdon tube contact pressure gauges is being introduced by Gemlog Controls.
These gauges suit applications where an alarm output is required, such as in the food, beverage and chemical industries, says the company. Gemlog offers solutions to pneumatic and light hydraulic applications where pump protection is critical to the process.
The options of full stainless steel or copper alloy satisfy most applications. Chemical seals can also be supplied. Where a dampening effect is required the unit can be oil filled. For additional safety changes the gauges can be fitted with plastic or safety glass windows. A 100mm or 160mm diameter gauge with pressures ranges from -1 to 15bar and 0-1600bar is available.
