Neste Oxo hits the gravy train

Neste Oxo has started up a new 15 000t/a acid plant at Stenungsund, Sweden. Costing some SKr125million, the plant can make both 2-ethylhexanoic and propionic acids, used in paint and cosmetics and animal feeds respectively.
