Parker Hannifin has shaken up its instrumentation products division with the appointment of David Bailey as general manager. He will be responsible for western and eastern Europe, the CIS and Middle East. Other new appointments include Sheldon Banks as UK sales manager and Chris Toncheff as European sales manager.
New head for GAMBICA
Michael Gutteridge, chief executive of Blackburn Starling, is to serve as chairman of GAMBICA, the trade association for instrumentation, control and automation, for 1997/8.
A fusion of talents
Tom Gwynn has been named as managing director of Fusion Meters, while Richard Halls takes over as sales and marketing director. The company, which manufactures water metering systems, is currently expanding its European business.
Cooper in a hazardous area
Bob Cooper is to head Sira Test and Certification's hazardous area centre near Chester. He was previously in charge of product certification at Sira's site in Chiselhurst.
