Philips and Bechtel link in gas

Philips Petroleum has formed an alliance with contractor Bechtel to improve both firms' positions in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) markets. The companies will license the optimised cascade liquefaction technology, which wasdeveloped by Bechtel for Philips in 1969 and now used in 35 per cent of the world's LNG plants.
