Pumps shift foodstuffs

A new range of hopper-fed, positive displacement pumps from Allweiler can be used to transfer many viscous and non-flowing products to be found in the food industry.
The ACZP range comprises a hygienic standard rotor and stator element housed in a polished stainless steel housing.
Feed to the rotor and stator is enhanced by an auger feed screw mounted on the drive shaft of the pump, contained within an enlarged hopper-type inlet housing.
Allweiler can supply custom-made hoppers and inlet flanges to suit almost any design of machine or supply vessel. Capacity sizes available range from 2 to 200 l/min, with discharge pressures rising to 12barg. Heating or cooling jackets can easily be incorporated into all models and, if required, clean-in-place facilities can also be provided.
