Filter stands up to hot washes

Equipment for the food and beverage industries has to cope with the degrading effects of frequent hot water sanitisation and caustic regeneration. Recognising this, Cuno has successfully modified the properties of nylon 66 membrane material and incorporated the new material in its BevAssure II membrane cartridge filter.
The cartridge has a high surface area, incorporating 1m2 of the durable nylon membrane in an all-propylene housing. The filter is available with pore ratings of 0.45 micron and 0.65 micron in 10in to 40in modules with all common end-cap styles. All materials of construction are CFR 21 listed.
