KCC to cater for process industries

KCC, supplier to the oil and gas industry, has bought its Suffolk-based long-term sub contractor KVR. KVR specialises in high quality alloy fabrication and package assembly.
The acquisition provides KCC with pressure vessel, piping and steelwork fabrication capability with planned cost savings for smaller process projects such as chemical injection skids, fuel gas scrubbing, filter systems, and oily water hydrocyclone packages. In the past the companies have delivered plants to Arco, BP, British Gas, and Statoil.
