Give your plant a heart-to-HART

With its Smart Adviser, Peek Measurement says you can now unlock the full potential of any HART-compatible instruments already installed in the field. Releasing all the digital data held in plant-wide field devices can significantly improve plant efficiency and, the company maintains, bring you plant optimisation of the future, today.
There is already a huge installed base of HART transmitters, including mainstream instruments such as temperature and pressure devices, as well as the majority of niche instruments such as density meters. Initially these devices were accessed by handheld interfaces on a single point, single instant basis. But now HART multiplexers can provide users with selected information from existing instruments' two-wire loops and will interface with versatile software packages for maintenance management.
Peek's Smart Adviser is one of a further HART development that looks at the HART data as it passes down the 4-20mA loop and gives on-line alarming.
