Vacuum coater enriches animal feed

After a series of successful trials in Europe, Tatham-Forberg is introducing its vacuum coater mixer to the UK.
The vacuum method of coating pellets allows animal feed producers to add more than 25 per cent additional fat and nutrients to their pellets and still have a handleable product.
Because of the interest being shown in the vacuum coater, and an increase in orders for its standard mixers, Tatham-Forberg has upgraded its manufacturing plant in Rochdale, Lancashire, with the installation of a CNC machining centre.
