With a panel depth of less than 125mm, the new Commander 250 0.25DIN controller from ABB Kent-Taylor packs in a host of control capabilities.
It provides highly versatile single-loop control, featuring universal input, integral transmitter power supply and extensive applications functionality.
It will measure parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow and level and is said to be ideal for controlling food industry retorts, carbonation, pasteurisation, ovens and packaging; water and waste industry flow, dosing and level operations, and for environmental monitoring and heat treatment applications.
Features built in as standard include facilities for implementing heat/cool strategies, ramp/soak setpoint profiles and analogue, logic and relay control outputs.
In common with other instruments in the Commander range, the 250 is available with Modbus communications for SCADA, PLC or open system integration.
