Flow meter manufacturer Danfoss is shaking up its board. Sales director for instrumentation and drives Tony Newton-Woof is to move to Singapore, to head a new water industry initiative. His responsibilities will be split between Marcus Postings and Mads Warming.
* Testing time
Hamworthy Combustion Engineering has appointed Rod Tester, formerly with Thomson Marconi Sonar, as operations director, a new board-level post.
* Purely promotion
John Durrant is to take on the role of managing director at water purification specialist Elga Environmental. He has been with the company for ten years, most recently as service manager.
* Gone to Grundfos
Duncan Cooper is to join Grundfos Pumps as managing director, from his current position as director of systems and control services at Johnson Controls. He will replace Reg Wade, who is to retire after ten years with the company.
