Precision in a standard housing
27 Feb 2003
Designed to offer precision measurement in a standardised sensor housing, Sensortechnics' new digital output pressure sensors boast a typical accuracy of 0.1 per cent.
Their serial outputs, available in 12- or 14-bit versions, are said to provide superior offset, span and linearity characteristics.
The sensors cover a pressure range from ±12.5mbar to 0-7bar, with a compensated temperature range from -20 degrees C to 85 degrees C.
Multiple sensors can be addressed on a single interface bus, the company says, while the serial interface allows communication with hardware at 9600 or 19 200 baud.
