It's a gas

Shell Gas Transmission and Enterprise Products Partners are to develop a $40 million deepwater pipeline that could begin transporting gas as early as November 2003.
The 41-mile, 16-inch pipeline will transport gas from the Gunnison development, in the western Gulf of Mexico, into an existing pipeline system.
Boasting a capacity of 275 million cubic feet a day, the new pipeline will meet the production requirements of the Gunnison development, operated by Kerr-McGee Oil & Gas Corporation, with the potential to take additional gas from future developments in the area.
Both the company that will own the pipeline, Triton Gathering, and the company that owns the system that the pipeline will connect into, Stingray Pipeline Company, are jointly owned by Shell and Enterprise.
The Gunnison discovery is located in 3,150 feet of water and is being developed with a truss spar platform that can serve as a hub for future development and third-party production.
