The Insitec Voyager is the latest in Malvern Instruments' range of on-line particle size analysers.
The mobile system can be attached to fixed sampling ports at various points in a production line. It can also be used to sample from production lines within the same plant.
Measuring 1.2m x 0.8m x 0.6m, the Voyager uses the same technology and rugged platform as all the Insitec instruments. The mobile unit houses all the instrumentation and software needed for on-line analysis.
The system features triclamping and 316 stainless steel parts for easy cleaning, while its software enables full compliance with the FDA's 21CFR pt 11 requirements.
The Insitec requires no calibration, nor does it need data acquisition intervals that can mask true process behaviour.
