UK AND INTERNATIONAL PLANT COST INDICES

Process Engineering's PREDICT plant cost index for the UK is made up of five components covering mechanical IM, electrical IE, civil engineering IC, site engineering IS, and project overheads IO. These are all calculated to the base 1996=100, as are the composite indices for the 13 countries that we have been regularly reporting each month. The new additions (see above) will be included once data is available on a consistent basis.
