China tightens up its interests

DSM Fibre Intermediates and Guangdong Xinhui Meida Nylon will form a joint venture for the production of nylon-6 polymers in Xinhui. The new plant will have a capacity of 45 000 tpa and the production process will be based on advanced Inventa-Fischer technology. DSM will hold a 25 per cent share in the j-v.
