Single column cell way to go

Designed specifically for process weighing applications in harsh environments, Revere Transducers' KSR load cell is now available in the UK from Variohm Components. The KSR is a single column compression cell. It compensates for vessel expansion and contraction through cell inclination up to a limit of 5 degrees. Its pivoting bearing design generates greater self-restoring energy than ball and cup solutions and is therefore more stable.
It is said to offer a cost competitive alternative to double-ended shear beams or other traditional solutions.
