The new DCE 100 range of bin vent filters are said to offer an alternative to traditional fabric sock filters on numerous materials handling, conveying and processing applications.
Designed by Torit DCE for easy installation in day bins, hoppers and vessels, the DCE 100 units filter the small volumes of dust-laden air typically displaced during vessel tipping, mixing and conveying operations, discharging clean air into the working environment.
The range comprises two units offering a choice of filtration areas, either 2.5 or 3.6m2, handling volumes up to 400m3/h. At its heart, the range features the DCE Siloair cartridge, proven in many silo-venting applications around the world and capable of achieving emission levels below 2mg/m3. The unit's compact circular design also ensures significant installation and maintenance advantages to OEMs and end users over other filters.
