Fabric filters find favour
12 Jun 2000
Since their launch last year, FLS miljo's Pulse-Jet filters have already clocked up a dozen orders for systems that will be operating around the world in a wide range of processes including cement manufacture, waste to energy, power generation, incineration, chemicals and metals processing.
The FabriClean system was developed at the company's Lodge Sturtevant Barrier Filtration Technology Centre in Birmingham. Improved bag life and reduced operating costs were the goal and Lodge Sturtevant engineers were confident this could be achieved by advanced gas flow distribution. This design has been the single most important development of the system, according to parent company FLS.
