Fluid valves aim high

With the recent purchase of Italian valve manufacturer Sirai, Asco Joucomatic has been able to extend its range of fluid control valves. These include pinch valves; dry valves with separated internal parts and brass or nickel plated micro valves. The range of valves is aimed at the high technology markets, such as biotechnology and chromatography applications. Most of the solenoid valves have IP65 rated coils. This is possible because the coil windings are impregnated with polyester resin, preventing moisture ingress which is usually associated with thermoplastic moulded coils.
