Tronic is the star of the show

The `intelligent' pump drive, Tronic, is the star of the show on Hilge's stand (291). Featuring an integral frequency inverter, the drive's variable speed ensures that the pump runs at optimum efficiency.
The company, which specialises in 316 stainless steel pumps for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries, is also showing the Hygia Tronic pump (pictured above), which provides gentle product handling for shear-sensitive liquids.
Other new products on show include high-capacity centrifugal pumps, for flow rates up to 800m3/h; the Sipla-90.1 high flow rate self-priming liquid ring pump, which can handle air entrained in the pumped product without airlocking; and a multi-stage centrifugal pump with crevice-free surfaces suitable for pharmaceuticals duties.
