Suite to link discrete and continuous control

WizFactory from PC Soft International is said to be the first PC software suite that combines both continuous process and discrete control with Scada and the Internet.
The suite includes WizPLC for discrete PLC functions, WizDCS for continuous process control, and two versions of Wizcon to provide Scada functionality and Internet connectivity.
Reflecting the trends towards open PC environments, WizFactory combines an IEC 61131-3 soft PLC with an advanced process controller that includes over 60 industry-standard control algorithms.
With native interfaces to all of the popular device networks, including Profibus, Interbus, CAN and LON, and open connectivity with OPC, WizFactory is said to integrate into most manufacturing and plant environments.
