Designed specifically for pharmaceutical industry applications, Bran + Luebbe's Tomal 224F multi-screw feeder is made from stainless steel and is designed to be fully opened for cleaning access to all components. The machine's design also allows for easy external sterilisation.
The advanced metering system uses close tolerance screw tunnels to provide high accuracy and prevent the uncontrolled discharge of free-flowing materials. B+L says it can be used wherever there is need for an economic, yet highly accurate (+/-1 per cent), solution to in-line metering of fine powders and granular materials that can form arches - a problem that is eliminated by the use of a large inlet area.
