Butterflies replaced in Japan site
29 Mar 2000
The Mucon Division of the Kemutec Group has just secured an order worth around £80 000 from a Japanese pharmaceuticals firm for 72 of its Series K Mucon Iris Diaphragm Valves to replace butterfly valves on a powdered products line.
Series K Mucon IDVs are intended for applications where hygiene is of paramount importance. Once removed, they can be disassembled in seconds without the use of tools for thorough cleaning. Nor do these gentle valves give rise to the high levels of tabletted product damage experienced before.
