Among the new products at Drives & Controls are a number of fibre-optic interconnection products, designed to optimise data rates and minimise electromagnetic interference in industrial networking. A new version of the Han-Brid hybrid connector meets the increasing need for signal security in bus systems featuring decentralised control of field components. The new connector allows the connection of hybrid fieldbus cables containing optical fibres, copper cables and copper twisted pairs in one compact unit.
