DCE settles down with Donaldson at long last

The Donaldson Company has completed its purchase of the DCE dust control business. The DCE company will be known as DCE Donaldson and will trade under the new name of Torit DCE. The acquisition brings together the expertise of Torit in the North American market and DCE's good position in Europe.
DCE has frequently changed hands in the past year as it was previously part of BTR, who merged with Siebe to become Invensys. DCE was then divested of following the merger. The Donaldson company will maintain DCE's UK research, development and manufacturing facility in Leicester.
Torit equipment is usually configured with replaceable cylindrical filter cartridges, whereas DCE products and systems are based on filter bag technology. Torit DCE can therefore offer the most appropriate dust control solution for each individual customer's application.
