Kvaerner has recently been awarded two major contracts worth in excess of US$140 million each. The Integrated Deir Ez Zor Gas Project in Syria's eastern desert was awarded by Conoco and Elf Aquitaine and a polypropylene plant in New Jersey, USA by the Tosco Refining Company.
