ABB licenses simulation tools

Following an exclusive technology and services agreement with Process Systems Enterprise (PSE), ABB Automation has added process simulation to its range of software tools for the process industries.
Under the terms of the agreement, ABB is to license PSE's gPROMS modelling and simulation software for incorporation into a new generation of model-based automation products. Developed at Imperial College, gPROMS provides rigorous modelling and dynamic optimisation of processes.
