Top marks for Applied Weighing
7 Apr 2000
After installing twenty weighing systems in 1997 at agrochemicals manufacturer A H Marks, Applied Weighing is now celebrating an order for nineteen further systems. The order includes eighty load cells in total, along with installation, calibration and a twenty four hour call out facility.
`Ours is a product wholly dependent on an accurate and reliable process,' said David Sanderson of A.H. Marks. `Applied Weighing supplied us with a quality range of products and service back-up which their competitors have been unable to match,' he added. Those products are Applied Weighing's SafeMounts, made in 19/4 stainless steel, carrying the Baseefa approval to Eex ia 11C T6, and working in extremely harsh conditions.
A recent innovation to the SafeMount is a built-in `jacking' facility that does away with the need to remove the entire mount when servicing, by allowing in situ dismantling and re-assembly. The company manufacture load cells which can manage loads of up to 500 tonnes.
