Boiler runs out of steam, but replacement fires up
9 Oct 2000
After 50 years in service and more than 120 000 units sold worldwide, the venerable Fulton Series 'E' steam boiler is being replaced by the new Series 'J'. Nine models are available in the new series, with outputs ranging from 96 to 960kg/h, operating pressures up to 10.34bar and oil, gas and dual fuel low-NOx burner options.
Producing full steam output in less than 20 minutes, the 'J' units benefit from increased steam capacity, improved insulation and heat transfer, a considerable reduction in surface temperatures, and lower flue gas temperatures - all in a more compact design with a smaller footprint.
All models have integral operating and safety controls and can be supplied as standalone units or complete plant room packages.
