Barlo to buy ICI Acrylics in Germany

Barlo Group, the Irish packaging and radiator manufacturer, is buying ICI Acrylics GmbH, which makes extruded acrylic sheet in Nischwitz, Germany.
The sale is subject to regulatory approval. Barlo has said the acquisition enhances Barlo Plastic's acrylic sheet output and improves its existing strategic alliance with ICI Acrylics. ICI is currently trying to sell all of its acrylics business and is weighing up its options for disposal.
