Castell has designed a motion monitoring product for use with trapped-key access control systems. This ensures that mixers with variable run-down times have stopped before allowing access.
While an electric motor is rotating an electromotive force is generated which is monitored by sensors. A trapped key will not be released until the sensors register zero motion. Run-down time will vary depending on the load, but the unit ensures a minimum run-down period for each access request.
